Difesa, founded in 2019, was established to generate consistent uncorrelated net returns and preserve investor capital by employing arbitrage strategies to extract value from equity linked securities, with a focus on special purpose acquisition companies (“SPACs”), as well as convertible securities and warrants.

Prior to Difesa Mr. Cohen spent 18 years investing across a range of hedge fund strategies at the asset management firm Ramius, LLC.
