Kathleen Smith is Chairman of Renaissance Capital LLC, a global IPO investment advisory firm that she co-founded in 1991. Her Firm is known for its key role in providing institutional investors with a platform for tracking the global IPO market along with research on each company prior to its IPO. Renaissance Capital also manages IPO-focused ETFs (NYSE tickers: IPO, IPOS) that enable investors to efficiently access unique returns from a basket of newly public companies before they are included in broad market indices.
Prior to founding Renaissance Capital, Kathleen was a director of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets’ Technology and Emerging Growth Investment Banking Group. Ms. Smith received an MBA in Finance from Wharton.
