Ali has significant offshore experience in both debt and equity capital market transactions including
IPOs, SPAC IPOs, and deSPAC merger transactions, and has acted for leading U.S. investment managers,
sponsors, financial services companies, credit and infrastructure managers (both on the borrowing and
lending side) in connection with certain loan and credit facilities, general corporate matters and
investment funds.

Prior to moving to the Cayman Islands, Ali specialized in mergers and acquisitions and private equity
transactions at Goodmans LLP and Stikeman Elliott LLP, as well as in banking at Scotiabank and
economic policy at the Business Council of Canada.
